Last year The Masked Singe r had "Muppets Night" and now this year they've invited the S esame Street gang to sing along with the masked celebrities.   Based on the promo it looks like Oscar, Big Bird, Elmo, Abby, Cookie Monster and the Count will be featured. Watch the promo below: The Masked Singe r   "Sesame Street Night" airs Wednesday, March 15 on Fox and the following day on Hulu . 

This past October, Kermit the Frog joined Choir! Choir! Choir! at Lincoln Center. Kermit performed "Rainbow Connection" at the free event with Daveed Goldman Nobu Adilman, the violin group Rootstock Republic, and a room full of fans singing along.  Look closely, and you may even spot a few major Muppet fans in the crowd!

ABC announced the fifth installment of their successful Disney Family Singalong franchise this time celebrating Schoolhouse Rock's! 50th Anniversary and the Muppets are joining the fun. Here's a Muppet appearance that "flew" under the radar. Apparently Big Bird made an appearance at this year's Kennedy Center Honors . Our favorite feathered 6 year old was part of a group of past honorees that opened the ceremony.  Big Bird was also interviewed on the red carper before the show which you can watch below:   “Art doesn't care where you're from or what you look like. The inaugural Children’s & Family Emmys were held over two night over the weekend. Animal will be a be a presenter at The Game Awards Geoff Keighly, who produces the awards show, posted the announcement on  Twitter   stating "It's time to play the music It's time to light the Lights It's time to bring back @TheMuppets to #TheGameAwards." The  Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock  "Night of the Lights" holiday special isn't the only new Henson content. We told you back in September, Kermit appears on Disney's  Best in Snow. Our favorite flippered friend even made the poster for the special which you can see above and the the trailer with you can watch below.   You can see all the spectacular snow sculptures and musical performances as  Best in Snow is now streaming on Disney+ .   

The Sesame Street Muppets will be on hand (so to speak) to celebrate the annual lighting of the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree. The event will be hosted by Today' s Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb, Craig Melvin and Mario Lopez. Other celebrities announced include Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton, Jimmie Allen, Andrea Bocelli, David Foster and Katharine McPhee, Brett Eldredge, Mickey Guyton, Alicia Keys, Dan + Shay, The Shindellas, Louis York, and more. Christmas in Rockefeller Center airs tonight at 8 p.m. on NBC - though some NBC owned stations might start it at 7pm

The Great Con-Junction, celebrating The Dark Crystal and the world of Thra, returns this month with a star studded event in LA.  After hosting the first "unofficial" Great Con-Junction in 2020, this year's convention is not only officially licensed by the Henson Company, they are hosting an exclusive party on the Henson lot as part of the convention.  The guest list includes Lisa and Cheryl Henson, Henson President of Television Halle Stanford, Creative Supervisor for Jim Henson’s Creature Shop Peter Brooke, performers Louise Gold, Kevin Clash Warrick Brownlow-Pike, authors Caseen Gaines and J.M. The Masked Singer teased their upcoming "Muppets Night." The add features Miss Piggy and the Snowths singing "Mahna Mahna" with the panel, Fozzie, Crazy Harry, Animal, and of course Kermit. The Masked Singer's " Muppets Night" airs this Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on FOX.

The Muppets appeared on Dancing With the Stars last week.  Kermit, Miss Piggy, and Animal appeared in the ballroom to introduce Selma Blair and Sasha Farber who did the Quickstep to The Muppet Show  theme,  While Fozzie appeared in pre-taped footage during the their rehearsals.  Selma and Sasha started off their dance in front of a red curtain with The Muppet Show logo and a Muppetized couch.  and finished with a return to the couch while reused footage from 2015 of the Muppets in the aches sang along.  The judges gave them all eights and that tied them in 1st place.  After their dance host Tyra Banks plugged the upcoming Disney+ Electric Mayhem series Muppets Mayhem .  You can watch Selma and Sasha's dance below,  and the entire Dancing With The Stars segment with the Muppets on Disney+ .

The Muppets are coming to The Masked Singer .  After Kermit was unmasked as the snail last season, he and Miss Piggy will appear as judges for a whole episode dedicated to our felt friends.  You can watch a sneak peek at the new season below.   No word yet on when "Muppets Night" will air, but season 8 of The Masked Singer premieres Wednesday, Sept 21 on FOX!

After conquering D23 last week, The Electric Mayhem will promote their upcoming series The Muppets Mayhem at New York Comic Con.   The Muppets Mayhem: It’s time to play the music! As we wrap up our 2022 D23 coverage Disney announced a new unscripted holiday special  called Best in Snow  coming this winter to Disney+. The festive holiday special hosted by Tituss Burgess, transports artistic teams from around the world to a magical snowy village, Snowdome, for a spirited competition for the title of Best in Snow. With the help of Snowdome’s finest carvers, teams will transform their 10-foot, 20-ton blocks of snow into beautiful creations inspired by Pixar, Marvel, Walt Disney Animation, Walt Disney Studios, and The Muppets Studio. The teams focus on family favorites such as Moana, Coco, and The Lion King, and bring the characters to life in a way you’ve never seen before—in snow! Spectacular snow sculptures and lively musical performances from Burgess, Kermit the Frog, and DCappella make this an action-packed winter event for the entire family.  No release date yet, but expect the special to premiere this holiday season on Disney+.

Christmas came early this year as D23 celebrated  The Muppet Christmas Carol' s 30th anniversary.  Director Brian Henson, songwriter Paul Williams, costume designer Polly Smith, Muppet Performer Dave Goelz, joined host Nina West to talk about the film's enduring appeal. Disney Legend Jodi Benson performed "When Love is Gone." And Nina West and the Muppets closed the panel with a medley of the movie's songs.  It was also reveled that the full version of the film- including  "When Love is Gone" - will debut on Disney+ in December.  You can watch highlights from various perspectives from those in attendance below.  The full version of The  Muppet Christmas Carol -  including  "When Love is Gone" will debut on Disney+ December 11th -  exactly 30 years after the film's initial theatrical release.
