Adam Savage visited  Jim Henson's Creature Shop and talked  John Tartaglia, Donna Kimball, AKA Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock 's Gobo and Mokey Fraggle to learn how Muppets work.  John and Donna show Adam just how complex (physically as well as mentally) it is to bring Muppets to life on film, drawing from the methods developed by Jim Henson himself. We've heard rumors for months, but today it was officially announced that Fraggle Rock: Back To The Rock was renewed for a second season by Apple. According to  Deadline :  In Season 2, big changes affecting the Rock, the Fraggles, Doozers, and Gorgs will force them to confront their past and celebrate their interdependence, as they move through challenges together with hope, silliness, and brand new songs, all while dancing their cares away…down at Fraggle Rock. The Emmy-winning series' second season will include guests  Ariana DeBose ,  Brett Goldstein ,  and Catherine O’Hara, as well as  Daveed Diggs  who return as the voice of Jamdolin.  No release date has been announced but F raggle Rock: Back to the Rock and the Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock Night of the Lights holiday special are now streaming on Apple TV+ .

The inaugural Children’s & Family Emmys were held over two night over the weekend. In addition to being nominated for two  Directors Guild of Canada  Awards ,  Fraggle Rock: Back To The Rock  has also already won a  Sentential Award.  The Fraggle Rock reboot won the  Children’s Programming category for episode 107, “Flight of the Flutterflies”, written by Charley Feldman and directed by Jordan Canning.  In this episode " Jamdolin and the Troubadours visit the Rock for New Day's Day. Boober wrestles with his anxiety when he finds himself at the center of the action." Fraggle Rock: Back To The Rock " Flight of the Flutterflies"  can be streamed on Apple TV+
