Back in 202, the Henson Company started selling NTFs . At first we were excited for the possibility of something new for collectors. Then we learned not only were these items "virtually" worthless they are also horrible for the environment.  Now Variety is reporting that not only is Sesame Workshop launching  Sesame Street NFTs, they'll be priced at $60 each.  In case you don't know, here's how NTFs work.  Since Henson related NFTs began being "produced" we've learned even more about NFTs. Last year The Masked Singe r had "Muppets Night" and now this year they've invited the S esame Street gang to sing along with the masked celebrities.   Based on the promo it looks like Oscar, Big Bird, Elmo, Abby, Cookie Monster and the Count will be featured. After 10-year partnership with Hasbro, Sesame Street has named Just Play as its multi-territory master toy licensee for North America, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This multi-year deal includes e a wide range of toys for the show, which have already starting to hit shelves. Sad news to report as co-founder of Sesame Workshop Lloyd N. Morrisett, PhD has died. Sesame Street posted the following tribute on social media: Lloyd leaves an outsized and indelible legacy among generations of children the world over, with Sesame Street only the most visible tribute to a lifetime of good work and lasting impact. An experimental psychologist by training, Lloyd was a Vice President of the Carnegie Corporation of New York when he posed the question that would revolutionize children’s media: Could television be used to educate? New York Comic Con was held this past weekend and we spotted all kids of Henson related items throughout the Javitz Center. Artist Alley: Once again there were plenty of Henson-related art to found.
